  • ITP participates in Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Next Generation PurePower® PW800 engines

    - PurePower® PW800 engines will power Gulfstream's new business jet family announced yesterday.
    - ITP is responsible for the design, development, manufacture and assembly of both the Low Pressure Compressor and the Mid Turbine Frame of the engine.
    - Key components for ITP's modules will be produced in the Company's facilities in Spain, Mexico and the UK.

  • ITP participates in the MRO Aviation Week Europe Fair Madrid 2014

    Madrid, 7th October 2014. ITP participates in the MRO Aviation Week Europe Madrid taking place this week at IFEMA. This fair gathers every year the most important companies in the maintenance area or MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) of aeronautics, as well as other relevant sector actors such as airlines, OEMs (original equipment manufacturer) and suppliers. The fair is rotating between different European cities and this year is held in Madrid.

    ITP will be attending the fair through a stand of its In Service Support division. Visitors would be able to access the ITP In Service Support stand on October 8th (between 9am and 17pm) and 9th (9am-15pm).

  • EUR 119 million to support ITP’s RDI

    The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted ITP (Industria de Turbo Propulsores) a EUR 119 million loan for financing its research, development and innovation (RDI) activities. EIB Vice-President Román Escolano and ITP's CEO Ignacio Mataix signed the loan agreement in Madrid.

  • Presentation of the Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center

    The lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu, the Biscay´s General Deputy, José Luis Bilbao, and the CEO of ITP, Ignacio Mataix (on behalf of the 14 associated companies) have presented today at the Biscay´s Technology Park, the Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center, which will be running in 2015 and will be located at the park. Ignacio Mataix has explained that this center responds to an specific need "expressed by ITP and other companies that share a high technological product and international export focus.

  • ITP organizes R&D meeting in Bilbao for the next European green aero engine

    From June 24th to the 27th Industria de Turbo Propulsores, S. A. (ITP) will be organizing its annual follow-up meeting with a total of 40 representatives from leading engine companies participating in the European Union's 'Clean Sky' Research and Development initiative, whose total budget amounts to 1.6 billion euros.
