MTR390-E

The MTR390-E engine powers the most advanced Tiger combat helicopter models. The MTRI company, made up of ITP Aero, MTU Aero Engines, Rolls-Royce and Safran Helicopter Engines, is responsible for its development, production and maintenance.

In this programme, ITP Aero is responsible for the design of the power turbine and the structure between turbines. In addition, it is responsible for the production of other engine components and holds a license for its maintenance.
