COVID-19: Making a difference
In view of the urgent social needs that have arisen, ITP Aero has developed different activities.
The company has made its super-computing cluster available to relevant scientific research organisations, with the aim of facilitating intensive simulations in the fight against COVID-19.
The collaboration project involves facilitating intensive simulations of COVID-19 vaccines. The cluster has over 500 graphics cards for aeronautical engine and component designs.
In addition, ITP Aero has actively participated in the donation of medical PPEs to different hospitals and health centres. In particular, it is worth highlighting the delivery of more than 12,000 masks to the La Paz and Severo Ochoa hospitals in Madrid, and to the Basurto Hospital in Bilbao.
Employees have also played a key role in the development of various initiatives. Their training and experience in the areas of engineering and production have enabled them to become personally involved in various actions as specialists in fluid dynamics for the development of ventilators, the manufacture of medical PPEs or as volunteers in NGOs and other institutions. Special thanks to all of them.
