Start of main content
The history of ITP Aero is linked to the world of Defence. In 1989, ITP Aero was founded to allow Spain to participate in the development of the EJ200, the engine that powers the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet.
ITP Aero is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) thanks to its participation in the main European consortia: Eurojet, which develops the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter engine; Europrop International (EPI), which is in charge of the A400M transport aircraft engine; and MTRI, which develops the Tiger helicopter engine.
In addition, the company has ample experience in the design, construction, and development of complete engine test benches, subsystems, and component testing.
