ITP Aero has been listed by the Financial Times as one of “Europe’s Climate Leaders” for the second year in a row. The shortlist recognises the 600 companies that have achieved the greatest reduction in their Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions intensity over a five-year period (2018-23 for this edition).
ITP Aero is firmly committed to reducing carbon emissions across its own operations and sold products. The company’s near-term science-based targets have been validated by the SBTi and recently it also achieved “B” rating in the “Climate Change” category from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Despite an annual revenue increase of 8% between 2018 and 2023, it has successfully reduced its Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity by 13% in the same period, positioning itself with the lowest core emissions intensity among its peers.
Other factors are considered, such as transparency on Scope 3 emissions, which arise from a company’s supply chain.
