A key feature of ITP Aero’s stand is a modified EJ200 engine — the Eurofighter Typhoon’s powerplant — which includes a moving thrust vectoring nozzle designed for the next generation of fighter jets.
ITP Aero is taking part in the International Defence and Security Exhibition (FEINDEF), where it is presenting itself as Spain’s leading company in aeronautical propulsion, highlighting its innovative capabilities in military aircraft engines, its progress in the FCAS programme, and its MRO activities. The company’s stand features a range of cutting-edge technologies and has been produced using 100% recyclable materials with net zero emissions.
This display serves as a tribute to Spain’s successful track record in military engine development. From the EJ200 to the future FCAS engine, as well as the TP400 (A400M transport aircraft) and the MTR390 (Tigre helicopter), ITP Aero positions itself as a trusted partner in the development of disruptive technologies to meet the needs of a stronger European defence capability.
On Tuesday, 13 May, ITP Aero will host an event at its stand focused on the company’s technological developments as Spain’s leading partner in the engine pillar of the New Generation Fighter (NGF). The event will also bring together key Spanish companies, technology centres and universities working with ITP Aero and will underline the driving force it provides within the national industrial and technological ecosystem.
ITP Aero will also showcase its latest advances in propulsion system sustainment for the Spanish Armed Forces, making extensive use of cutting-edge developments in digitalisation and sustainability.
In addition, ITP Aero will give a presentation titled “ITP Aero and the new defence cycle”, and take part in several round tables: “The growth of defence investment: challenges, priorities and strategic returns”, “Defence investment as a driver of technological innovation and industrial development”, and “Eurofighter: Leading European strategic sovereignty” on 12 and 13 May.
Carlos Alzola, Managing Director of ITP Aero, said: “We are very pleased with our strong presence at this year’s FEINDEF, where we aim to reinforce the concept of a united European defence and drive forward key national and international projects. As Spain’s reference in aeronautical propulsion and a trusted partner of our Armed Forces, ITP Aero is showcasing its advances in cutting-edge technologies and reaffirming its commitment to building a robust and stable national industrial and technological ecosystem.”
