November 21, 2025EcoVadis awards ITP Aero Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year
This distinguished recognition places ITP Aero within the global top 1% of all rated companies and reinforces ITP Aero’s position as a world-class industrial ESG company
ITP Aero, global leader in the aerospace propulsion and commercial aviation industry, has earned for the second consecutive year the prestigious Platinum Medal from EcoVadis, widely recognised as the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating and the standard used across the aerospace sector, as recommended by the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG). This recognition places ITP Aero within the top 1% of companies assessed globally in 2025.
ITP Aero began its EcoVadis journey in 2022 to obtain external validation of its ESG strengths, achieving Gold in 2023 and Platinum in 2024. In the 2025 sustainability rating, under EcoVadis’ updated and more rigorous methodology, ITP Aero achieved an overall score of 89/100 and retained its Platinum rating. The 2025 scorecard reflects strong performance across the four pillars assessed by EcoVadis: Environment (96/100), Labour & Human Rights (89/100), Ethics (87/100) and Sustainable Procurement (81/100). EcoVadis’ 360° Watch also reported no compliance issues.
On climate, ITP Aero has moved up to the “Leader” level on the 2025 Carbon Management Level, from “Advanced” last year. This recognises clear, measurable progress in how the company measures, reduces and reports its greenhouse gas emissions. The result underpins ITP Aero’s strategy to be a world-class ESG company and its commitment to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
This year’s rating underscores ITP Aero’s continued excellence and the maturity of its ESG roadmap, achieved under the EcoVadis perimeter for ITP Aero and consistent with the broader ambitions reported at Group level. Building on last year’s Platinum performance, ITP Aero has sustained an outstanding result.
Pablo Quintana, Vice President Strategy and Chief Sustainability Officer at ITP Aero: “Retaining our Platinum rating for the second consecutive year and remaining in the global top 1% is a clear statement to the maturity of our ESG roadmap and the daily efforts of our people and partners. Reaching ‘Leader’ level in carbon management further reinforces the credibility of our decarbonisation strategy and our commitment to helping build a greener, more sustainable future of aviation”.
EcoVadis’ business sustainability ratings are based on international standards, including the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and the ISO 26000 standard. The ratings provide an evidenced-based analysis on performance and an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement.
