Supplying power to the engine

The compressor absorbs the air from the atmosphere and increases its pressure so that it can be introduced into the combustion chamber. The compressor receives power from the turbine through its shaft.

ITP Aero develops the complete compressor module, along with its main components, including the IBR (Integrated Blasted Rotor), whose blades and discs are manufactured as a single piece.

ITP Aero is responsible for the design, development, production, assembly and maintenance (aftermarket) of the low-pressure compressor in the programme PurePower™ PW800 by Pratt & Whitney Canada.
