ITP Aero expands Zamudio manufacturing facilities to support growing demand across commercial engine programmes

ITP Aero is expanding its manufacturing capabilities in its Zamudio (Spain) headquarters to support growing long-term demand across commercial engine programmes from the world’s leading aero-engine manufacturers. The company is investing €35 million in the expansion of its Zamudio manufacturing facilities, creating up to 150 new high-skilled jobs and further strengthening its industrial footprint.

The investment reflects the continued growth of ITP Aero’s manufacturing activity across programmes from GE Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney and Rolls-Royce. As an independent company, ITP Aero has continued to expand its participation in key commercial aviation programmes, supporting increasing production rates and long-term market demand.

To support this growing workload, ITP Aero is enlarging its Zamudio facilities by approximately 4,000 square metres. The expansion will incorporate state-of-the-art automation, robotics and advanced manufacturing technologies, enhancing productivity, quality and operational efficiency while supporting the production of critical components for current and next-generation commercial engine programmes.

Today, the company contributes critical components and systems to engine platforms developed by GE Aerospace and is also a Risk and Revenue Sharing Partner for Pratt & Whitney GTF and Rolls-Royce Trent engine families.
