- CDP is recognised as the “gold standard” for corporate environmental transparency
ITP Aero Group has maintained a ‘B’ rating in the CDP Climate Change assessment, performing at the “Management” level for the third consecutive year. The rating reflects the Group’s environmental performance for the 2024 fiscal year, as evaluated by CDP in 2025.
This result highlights the Group’s structured and consistent approach to managing climate-related risks and opportunities, supported by the implementation and evolution of its Net Zero Strategy.
During this reporting cycle, ITP Aero enhanced its performance across several key CDP categories, including Governance, Value Chain Engagement, Environmental Policies and Verification. The company also achieved an “A” in the Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA), which evaluates corporate supply chain engagement on climate-related issues.
In addition, ITP Aero Group received a “C” rating in the CDP Water Security assessment, which corresponds to the “Awareness” level and is in line with the sector average. This assessment provides a valuable baseline for enhancing the Group’s Water Roadmap and reinforces its commitment to sustainable water management practices.
As part of its ongoing commitment to transparency, ITP Aero has also published its Sustainability Report, highlighting progress in decarbonisation, increased use of renewable energy and continued investment in sustainable innovation. The report also underscores the company’s focus on people, with further progress in female representation in leadership roles and a continued commitment to providing a safe and secure workplace through strong Health & Safety performance.
These recognitions support ITP Aero’s broader ESG strategy, aimed at enabling a more sustainable aerospace industry. The company’s Net Zero Strategy is aligned with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which validated its near-term emission reduction targets in 2024.
The company continues to drive progress through both technological innovation and operational improvements. These include the development of advanced engine components and ultra-efficient gas turbines, support for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and ongoing research into alternative propulsion technologies such as electric, hybrid-electric and hydrogen systems. At the same time, the company is reducing its operational footprint through energy efficiency measures, lower-carbon energy sourcing, increased self-generation and process optimisation, as well as promoting SAF use in its test facilities.
Belén González, Associate Director of Sustainability at ITP Aero, commented: “Maintaining our CDP rating while advancing in key areas such as supply chain engagement reflects the progress we are making in embedding sustainability across our business. CDP remains a key benchmark for us, helping to guide our priorities as we continue strengthening our Net Zero Strategy and supporting the decarbonisation of the aerospace sector.”
ITP Aero Group will continue to build on this progress, further enhancing its climate and water management practices and reinforcing transparency across its environmental disclosures.
