ITP Aero held the first edition of its Supplier Forum in Zamudio (Basque Country), bringing together more than 50 senior executives from 30 supplier companies to share the company’s strategic vision and strengthen collaboration with a supply chain that will play an essential role in its future growth.
The strong representation of local companies reflected ITP Aero’s close ties with the region’s industrial base. Of the participating companies, 75% have a presence in the Basque Country, a region that plays a key role in developing advanced industrial capabilities for the aerospace sector.
During the Supplier Forum, ITP Aero presented its suppliers with the key projects that will drive the company’s growth in the coming years, the outlook associated with rising demand in commercial aviation and defence, and future opportunities linked to the next generation of aircraft engines, including those for future Next Generation Single Aisle (NGSA) aircraft.
The company also highlighted the essential role of the local supply chain in supporting its expansion, developing new industrial capabilities and strengthening the competitiveness of the aerospace ecosystem. The event concluded with a visit to ITP Aero’s facilities in Zamudio, where attendees gained first-hand insight into some of the company’s industrial and technological capabilities.
Reflecting its deep industrial roots in the region, ITP Aero spent €176 million with suppliers in the Basque Country in 2025, as part of a total spend of more than €320 million across its supply chain in Spain—an increase of 20% compared with the previous year. This activity supported approximately 1,350 indirect jobs in Spain during the year. With a network of more than 1,000 suppliers in Spain and over 2,400 worldwide, the company supports the development of strategic industrial capabilities and strengthens its role as a driver of economic and industrial growth.
Eva Azoulay, CEO of ITP Aero, said: “Our suppliers are strategic partners in delivering on our commitments to customers and enabling our growth. As demand increases, we need to work together to deliver today while investing in the capacity, capabilities and competitiveness we will need tomorrow. This Supplier Forum is about strengthening that partnership, aligning on our priorities and ensuring that, together, we are ready to meet our customer commitments and capture the opportunities ahead.”
